It's CX Worlds this weekend! Watch the [men's elite] race from home on Flo Sports and then join us for some gravel to celebrate the climax of an excellent cross season [women's elite is Sat. morning and absolutely worth the watch too!]. This is a similar though slightly tweaked route to the one we did in late-December, to hit a few segments I often end up abandoning due to laziness. Expect a Super B-type of effort to result in B-level average speeds on the mixed surface route. Coffee stop at Farmer & Co. midway through. Any gravel or cross bike will be fine (these are not technical gravel roads but ignore RWGPS' surface estimates), or even a road bike running 28mm or larger tires. Tubeless setups recommended, however. Ride starts/ends at Evergreen Cafe in Kennett Square (216 South Mill Road, Kennett Square, PA). Park in the rear behind the cafe and enjoy some yummy Colombian food and coffee afterwards (or before!). Ride starts at 10:45 am to give time for the ride leader to finish watching the morning races...and for temps to come up a bit.
